Well, if you guys haven't realised I'm a Kuroko no Basuke and otome game fanatic, so as a fanatic I felt inclined to purchase DryLab's Kuroko no Basuke doujin otome games.  Unfortunately, as most doujin collectors know, they aren't available through the traditional channels and you usually have to use a Japanese Shopping Proxy if you want any hope of getting your hands on them, so I decided to try out From Japan Japanese Shopping Proxy.  It's a pretty decent service.  However, since I used the secure domestic shipping option with insurance and EMS to ship the products to Australia, the total shipping cost was approximately 2 times the total cost for the actual products (excluding commission and system usage fees), so I don't really recommend this service unless you really need a proxy to purchase your products.  I should also add that for this service there you have to make 2 payments you have to make, one for the products purchased (+ commission and system usage fees) and the second for the shipping fee.  Please note that if you don't make the second payment in 3 days they charge you ¥100 for each day extra until you make the second payment.

Pros
  • Quite a few shipping options for shipping from Japan to destination country
  • Reliable
  • Will ship items from many Japanese companies, sites and stores
Cons
  • Expensive
    • Costs ¥150 for them to check the condition of  your product
    • ¥100/day late fee if you don't make the second payment for your shipping expenses in the 3 day period after they issue the notice for 'Charge 2'
